Eco Days and Family Fun Days

The staff at The Lancashire Wildlife Trust are calling all children aged 8-14 to come and join in our action packed Summer Eco Days. We are holding activity days every week of the summer holidays at the Environment Education Centre in Penwortham. The days will take place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting from the 29 July.

We aim to give children the opportunity to interact with the environment in a fun but safe approach. Kids are welcome to come for one day or as many as they like and can stay from 9:30-4:00 (£12) or 10:00-3:00 (£10). We will also be holding three family days after our very successful May family day. Children of any ages are welcome to come along between 10am-2pm with their parents for lots of activities and games. Prices are £5 per child, parents for free (2 adults per child, additional £3 per adult after).

Past Eco days have proven to be very popular and places are limited so should be booked in advance.

Also running through the summer are practical Greenprints at Penwortham days. Here's your chance to get stuck in, we are looking for any willing volunteers over the age of 16 to muck in building dry stone walls, constructing sculptures, planting trees, assembling seating areas and much more. Dates are as follows: August 4th, 5th, 11th, 15th, 27th, and 29th. For more details please call 01772 751110 or email educationteam@lancswt.org.uk
